Golden Globes 2013- The Dresses

I was really impressed with some dresses and the obvious trends at this year’s Golden Globes red carpet. Side wave hair dos, red and nude dresses rules the event and some winner gowns.

I’m in no place to criticize any celebs and their gowns but some of them absolutely rocked it for me.

Firstly, JLo in that Zuhair Murad nude lace dress! She’s a fashion goddess and I think she nails it 99% of the time. Her make up was spot on and she was also rocking the ‘side wave’ hair do.

I think this was by far my best red dress from the event. Jennifer Garner looked absolutely stunning and flawless in this Vivienne Westwood gown. Definitely one of my favourite.

For me, Naomi Watts was never one to watch on the red carpet but I think she was spot on in this burgundy dress by Zac Posen.  I like that she’s all covered up and looks comfortable in the dress.

Michelle Dockery wearing an Alexandre Vauthier Couture gown. Didn’t know who she was until I spotted the dress and had to do a google search, it happens I haven’t seen anything she’s being in but I must say, she is one gorgeous woman and she did justice on the red carpet in this dress.

Hallie Berry is a red carpet goddess and she brought in the prints with this Atelier Versace dress. Also one of my faves.

I expected to see more of Marchesa, Oscar de la Renta and Carolina Herrera gowns but maybe I’ve missed a few celebs.

What do you think about my top picks and who brought in the wow factor for you at this years Golden Globes?

  1. The most beautyful and sexiest dress is not on your list. She and a man were the first presenter, and I do not get her name The dress was black (velvet perhaps), it had a gold jewelery high neck and two gold matching type of buttons on waist. The woman had the most fabulous figure and was absolutely beautyful. Who is she? What is her name?
